FUNCTIONAL SHIRTS<br />
For the layering system to work effectively, all the layers should consist of breathable fabrics<br />
– starting with the first layer in the system. Our functional shirts wick moisture rapidly and<br />
efficiently away from the body, transporting it to the outer layer of the clothing system,<br />
through which it can escape and evaporate. This produces a noticeable improvement in wear<br />
comfort, particularly when wearing a waterproof shell on top but also when the garment<br />
is worn on its own for high output sports. It also means you do not cool down as quickly,<br />
thus prolonging your physical performance.<br />
