HIKING IN THE HEBRIDES
Rest break: as Claudia, Ruth, Matt and Stuart arrived at the
Standing Stones of Callanish on their first hike, they had
already experienced the daily downpour that is typical for
the Hebrides. It is said that the Callanish megalith site might
once have been used for astronomical purposes. It is one of
the largest stone circles in Britain.
