The seasons change overnight. Day three and it
feels like autumn has arrived. Mist hangs in the
air and the team don their weatherproof gear.
But somehow it seems fitting; the feeling of re -
moteness is intensified. Through green birch and
conifer and stubborn, dense undergrowth, we
make our way back to Kvikkjokkdelta. After two
hours a path becomes discernible. Wooden planks
lead us safely across the bogs and the swirling
mist contributes to the mystical atmosphere.
