Product range<br />

The supply range of the <strong>DX</strong> <strong>FKA</strong> dual series comprises 9<br />

types, based on the unique semi-hermetic reciprocating<br />

compressor operating on ammonia. The refrigeration<br />

capacity ranges from 200 up to 800 kW at a cooling<br />

liquid delivery temperature of 6 °C. Only ammonia is<br />

used as the refrigerant being ozone friendly and in<br />

compliance with all today’s environmental issues. The<br />

chiller operates with dry evaporation and is equipped<br />

with shell & tube heat exchangers for both evaporator<br />

and condenser. The system offers the highest reliability<br />

and best part load behavior due to 2 separate refrigerant<br />

circuits with 2 semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors.<br />

The use of ammonia soluable oils eliminates the need for<br />

costly oil return systems. The refrigeration circuit is<br />

optimised to give a minimum refrigerant charge of<br />

approximately 50 g/kW. The <strong>DX</strong> <strong>FKA</strong> dual chiller is<br />

especially suitable for both air conditioning and process<br />

applications.<br />
