Reunions!
Congratulations to the Class of 1956 who celebrated their 50th
reunion at the Springfield Hilton this past September. The weekend
was spent getting reacquainted with a “human” scavenger
hunt, a history quiz and a roll call, which was taken just like
back in 1956! Fr. Steve Janoski from SHG celebrated Mass.
Welcome to the Nifty Fifty crowd, Class of 1956 — hope to see
you at the Nifty Fifty Reunion on Saturday, June 9th.
Meanwhile, the Class of 2006 celebrated their “sixth month
reunion” at SHG during their Christmas break. Over 30 students
who had just graduated in May of 2006 came back to SHG to eat
pizza and reconnect with their SHG friends after only six months
away. Many commented on how “small” the cafeteria looked!
This first-ever event was sponsored by the Alumni Association
who hopes to continue and expand this program next year.
