feto y como consecuencia menor liberación de
gonadotropinas en la hipófisis. La secreción de
hormona luteinizante y testosterona se realizan en
forma paralela al crecimiento testicular en los
cerdos antes y después del nacimiento. 25 La
implantación intracerebral directa de testosterona
en el hipotálamo mediobasal o la amígdala inhibe
la secreción hipofisiaria de hormona
luteinizante, 26 y la hipofisectomía de cerdos
inmaduros 27 y en los adultos 28 provoca la
regresión de los testículos.
