gonadotropinas en la hipófisis. La secreción <strong>de</strong><br />
hormona luteinizante y testosterona se realizan en<br />
forma paralela al crecimiento testicular en los<br />
cerdos antes y <strong>de</strong>spués <strong>de</strong>l nacimiento. 25 La<br />
implantación intracerebral directa <strong>de</strong> testosterona<br />
en el hipotálamo mediobasal o la amígdala inhibe<br />
la secreción hipofisiaria <strong>de</strong> hormona<br />
luteinizante, 26 y la hipofisectomía <strong>de</strong> cerdos<br />
inmaduros 27 y en los adultos 28 provoca la<br />
regresión <strong>de</strong> los testículos.<br />
