The novices had a special program in which Fr.
Robert Karanja OSA from Kenya gave a seminar
on Human formation. The Kenyan novices had
an opportunity to visit the communities and the
parishes of the Delegation of Tanzania in order
to have a certain experience of life and
activities in our communities.
The Visit of the Most Rev. Prior
Provincial
The month of June was special for us because
the Delegation was visited by our Prior
Provincial and Provincial Treasurer. On the 2 nd of
June 2013, the two landed at Mwalimu Julius
Nyerere International Airport-Dar Es Salaam in
the morning and were received by the Delegate
Superior in the community of St. Monica-
Mavurunza.
On Monday 3 rd of June, they started their visit
in the community of Mkolani Mwanza. They
spoke with the brothers of the community and
some members of the parish council, they visit
the different outstations especially the new one
of Tagaste. The visit was concluded by a
meeting with community whereby the Prior
Provincial presented the outcome of the visit
and the real situation of the community.
On the 6 th of June they returned to Dar Es
Salaam. On the 7 th of June they travelled to
Mahanje whereby they visited the community
from the 8 th to the 9 th of June. In this
community the visitors examined the books
and spoke with the members of the
community. At the end a meeting was helde
with the community.
On the 10 th of June they travelled to Morogoro.
They stayed there till the 13 th of June. They
visited the Community of Morogoro from 10 th
up to the 13 th of June. From the 13 th to the
20 th they visited the community of Dar Es
Salaam.
In Dar Es Salaam they had a tough job of
examining the school construction, holding
various meetings, visiting different furniture
shops to see the situation of the furniture
which are to be installed in the school. They
concentrated on the external works in the
college which is being constructed and they
gave serious direction to the concerned
companies.
With all these they checked the books of the
Delegation and those of the community. Finally
a meeting of the Delegation Council was held
and the immediate
observations were presented.
We would like to thank the
Most Rev. Prior Provincial Fr.
Carlos Moran and the
Provincial Treasurer Br. Adolfo
Guerra for this visit since they
did enlighten us a lot in
respect to many aspects.

Provincial Council for being
