ABSTRACTInside the set of networks known as the Internet, the copyright faces a latent danger of violationof the rights and guarantees inherent to himself, such as his authorship and exclusivity ofexploitation. In the matter, the Law of Intellectual Property of Ecuador, it does not foresee thepossible violation and what is worst, the punishment of which the offenders of the Copyrightwould be fastened across telematic means in the Web.This fact develops into luck of its own regulation from the Internet and principally from itsusers. Nowadays several programs or software’s have been destined to protect the informationand its rights. This initiative has been grown since it does not exist an effective, the viability anda direct application by a legal way, with relation to the conflicts that could be generated in thearea of the Intellectual Property.Many authors and interpreters have formed their ingenuity and personality on their works(books) and it is a huge concern about the way they are so defenselessness, because theircreations are glaringly exposed to violations of authorial character, inside the immensetechnological platform of the Internet.Though it is a fact that exist many international agreements that gather guarantees granted for theprotection of the Copyright, it is also a fact that thanks to the globalization and the evolution ofthe IT and commercial dynamics, exists a huge confusion and irrelevancy of the Law against asevere violation.IX
