Literal reading<br />
What’s?<br />
It merely extracts the information given in the text, without adding any<br />
interpretative value. The fundamental processes that lead to this level of<br />
reading are: Observation, comparison, relationship, classification, change,<br />
order and transformations.<br />
It is divided into 2:<br />
°Primary literal level: Centered on the ideas and information that is<br />
explicitly presented in the text by recognition or evocation of facts.<br />
°Secondary literal level: At this level, a deeper reading is made that allows<br />
us to better understand the text, to recognize the ideas that arise in it and<br />
how they relate to the main theme.<br />
Procedure to understand literal reading.<br />
°Read the general reading.<br />
°Identify the idea<br />
°Reread the first paragraph<br />
°Build a paragraph diagram<br />
°Make a synthesis summary type.<br />
