Après Le Dernier Trappeur (2,3 millions d’entrées en France) et Loup (1,2 millions
d’entrées), Nicolas Vanier signera ici son troisième et dernier film sur le Grand
Nord, une sorte d’aboutissement pour celui qui aura consacré trente ans de sa
vie aux pays d’en haut et qui en est devenu un spécialiste incontestable.
Pour ces deux longs métrages de fiction, l’équipe de Nicolas a mis au point des
techniques parfaitement rodées qui permettent de tourner à des températures
allant jusqu’à - 60 °C. Ils ont acquis une expérience inédite sur les façons
d’organiser ce type de tournage en conditions réelles mêlant action et comédie.
Le tournage s’effectuera au Canada dans le Yukon et s’étalera sur une année
entière.

After The Last Trapper (2.3 million tickets sold in France) and Wolf (1.2 million
tickets sold), this will be Nicolas Vanier's third and last film about the Great North
- a final chapter in the saga for this man who will have dedicated thirty years of
his life to the high country and who has become an undisputed specialist of the
region.
While making their first two feature films, Nicolas and his crew perfected their
approach to shooting in extreme conditions (temperatures drop as low as - 60°C).
They have unparalleled experience shooting in natural locations and real weather
conditions to achieve a harmonious mix of action and drama.
The shoot will take place in Canada's Yukon Territory over a period of one year.
