SÉDUIRE APPEAL Tour. Through this event, the Marque is underlining its commitment to values that combine boldness and ambition with the will to reach for far horizons and to ally technology and creativity in order to meet the challenges of the present. Eighty years ago, the heroes of the Croisière Jaune had to dismantle their vehicles when crossing the Himalayas in order to cope with landslides and inhospitable terrain. In a nod to this episode, the Marque designed the Citroën Creative Tour for easy dismantling. The roving exhibition is made up of three infl atable domes linked to resemble a DNA chain. Each dome focuses on a different subject. In each one, visitors can enjoy a different sensorial experience. The fi rst dome, for example, which is also the largest, focuses on “Innovation”. It features amazing, contemporary and interactive artistic creations, alongside the Revolte concept car and the entire DS line-up. The DS5 illustrates the latest progress in full hybrid technology with the HYbrid4. The “Sensation” dome, in the centre, is dedicated to interactivity and digital games, with lots of activities and models on show. Visitors of all ages can try out “live car painting”, an activity that involves using a tactile screen to create a roof design for theDS3. Thrill seekers can take the controls of the GTbyCitroën concept car on the popular video game Gran Turismo 5 (available on Sony PlayStation 3). Citroën is also organising a competition on the website www.creativetour.citroen.com. The lucky winers will be able to experience this event from the inside, in the passenger seat of these exceptional cars! 40 ... Citroën s’est ainsi permis le luxe d’arpenter les routes berlinoises et parisiennes avec deux de ses plus fameux concepts cars : GTbyCitroën, déclinaison à l’échelle réelle de la voiture imaginée pour le jeu vidéo Gran Turismo 5, et Survolt, véritable voiture de course 100% électrique. Une occasion unique de photographier ces deux voitures d’exception en action dans des décors prestigieux. Un moment exceptionnel qui a provoqué bon nombre de frissons parmi la foule massée pour l’événement. Au point même d’arrêter le temps. Comme le disait un internaute ayant assisté au spectacle : « J’ai déjà vu des belles voitures, mais pas des voitures qui réussissent à arrêter la circulation sur leur passage ! » A MAGICAL TOUR The Citroën Créative Tour is not only an interior show. It will also be on the streets, as Citroën has decided to tour the boulevards of Berlin and Paris with two of its most famous concept cars, GTbyCitroën, a real, life-sized version of the car created for the Gran Turismo 5 game, and Survolt, an all-electric racing car. A unique opportunity to photograph these exceptional cars in a prestigious setting. And a magical moment that wowed the crowds gathered for the event. As one spectator said later on the web, “I’ve already seen beautiful cars, but not cars that make traffi c stop when they go by!”
