• During the treatment, hot steam escapes from the steam<br />

distributor 3. Do not touch the steam distributor 3 –<br />

especially the steam outlet nozzles.<br />

• The water boiler 6 is hot when removed from the<br />

appliance. The lid of the water boiler 6 will protect your<br />

hand from any hot steam that might escape. Only remove the<br />

water boiler 6 from the appliance by grasping the handle.<br />

• Only use the appliance on an even surface.<br />

Danger of suffocation<br />

• The transparent plastic film poses a risk of suffocation to<br />

children. Keep the packaging away from children.<br />

• The ceramic pieces 7 could be swallowed or inhaled by<br />

children.<br />

• Do not remove the ceramic pieces 7 from the water boiler<br />

Risk of injury<br />

• Under no circumstances should the appliance be left unattended<br />

as long as the power plug f is still inserted.<br />

• The use of the appliance requires supervision. Special attention<br />

is required around children or infirm persons in particular.<br />

• The appliance may not be used with the old <strong>Wella</strong> pedestal<br />

type ST3 under any circumstances. The appliance may fall off<br />

the pedestal type ST3 during use and injure the customer<br />

being treated.<br />

• This appliance may only be used for the intended purpose<br />

specified in these operating instructions (see “Section 2.1”<br />

page 47).<br />

• Only accessories approved by the manufacturer should be<br />

used.<br />
