2 Your safety is important to us
• During the treatment, hot steam escapes from the steam
distributor 3. Do not touch the steam distributor 3 –
especially the steam outlet nozzles.
• The water boiler 6 is hot when removed from the
appliance. The lid of the water boiler 6 will protect your
hand from any hot steam that might escape. Only remove the
water boiler 6 from the appliance by grasping the handle.
• Only use the appliance on an even surface.

Danger of suffocation
• The transparent plastic film poses a risk of suffocation to
children. Keep the packaging away from children.
• The ceramic pieces 7 could be swallowed or inhaled by
children.
• Do not remove the ceramic pieces 7 from the water boiler
6.
• Keep the water boiler 6 away from children.

Risk of injury
• Under no circumstances should the appliance be left unattended
as long as the power plug f is still inserted.
• The use of the appliance requires supervision. Special attention
is required around children or infirm persons in particular.
• The appliance may not be used with the old Wella pedestal
type ST3 under any circumstances. The appliance may fall off
the pedestal type ST3 during use and injure the customer
being treated.
• This appliance may only be used for the intended purpose
specified in these operating instructions (see “Section 2.1”
page 47).
• Only accessories approved by the manufacturer should be
used.
