5.8.2 Changing the treatment temperature<br />
1. Change the required temperature level using the Plus/Minus buttons<br />

5.8.3 Switching ionization on and off<br />
1. Switch ionization on and off using the Ion button w:<br />
➥ The Ion button w is lit up – ionization is switched off.<br />
• Pressing the Ion button w again switches ionization on once more.<br />
➥ Ionization begins immediately without the 5-minute delay (see “Section<br />
5.4” page 63).<br />

5.9.1 End of treatment<br />
The display q starts to flash three minutes before expiry of the treatment<br />
time.<br />
➥ 10 tones with increasing volume are heard at the end of treatment.<br />
• The appliance enters a cooling-down phase (approx. 3 minutes):<br />
➥ The hair is cooled down.<br />
➥ Remaining steam is ejected from the appliance.<br />
Basic setting<br />
The appliance adopts the basic setting after 10 minutes if no setting is entered.<br />
• Switch off appliance as described in “Section 5.11” page 69 or prepare<br />
for new treatment.<br />
5.9.2 Check result and extend treatment if necessary<br />
After the end of treatment (10 tones with increasing volume) you can extend<br />
the treatment with the temperature previously selected within a period<br />
of 10 minutes.<br />
An after-treatment time of up to 60 minutes can be set.<br />
1. Select the required treatment time using the time buttons p:<br />
• “10” button: input in 10-minute increments,<br />
• “1” button: input in 1-minute increments.<br />
The after-treatment time and temperature can be extended as described in<br />
“Section 5.8” page 66.<br />
2. Press the START button v.<br />
➥ Preheating phase: the temperature symbol t lights up (approx. 2<br />
minutes).<br />
➥ The display q shows the remaining treatment time.<br />
• Pressing the START button v again will display the already expired<br />
treatment time (Memo function).<br />
