RECEPTION AND DISPOSING OF UNIT1 CONTROLS AT RECEPTION2 HANDLING3 REMOVING THE PACKING4 DISPOSAL1 CONTROLS AT RECEPTIONThe refrigerators are shipped in appropriate protective packing. Onarrival, check that the appliance has not incurred transport damage andthat it is complete according to the order. In the event of visibledamage immediately note the damage on the transport documentswith the following wording:“RECEIVED WITH RESERVE FOR EVIDENT DAMAGE OFPACKING” since the delivery terms are ex factory this involvesreimbursement of damages by the insurance company.IMPORTANTALL THE OPERATIONS INDICATED BELOW MUST BE PERFORMEDIN RESPECT OF EXISTING SAFETY REGULATIONS, BOTH FORTHE EQUIPMENT IN USE AND FOR THE OPERATINGPROCEDURES.WARNIN<strong>GB</strong>EFORE BEGINNING HANDLING OPERATIONS ENSURE THAT THELIFTING CAPACITY IS SUFFICIENT FOR THE APPLIANCE INQUESTION.2 HANDLING2.1 - HANDLING with FORK LIFT or SIMILAR2.1.1 - Insert the forks into the side of back of the wooden pallet suppliedwith the appliance.2.1.2 - Begin lifting checking that the appliance is in stable equilibrium.WARNINGDURING HANDLING DO NOT TIP OR TURNOVERWARNINGTHE RESPECT OF THE RECOMMENDATIONS PRINTED ON THEOUTSIDE OF THE PACKING IS A GUARANTEE OF A SOUNDPHYSICAL AND OPERATING CONDITION OF THE APPLIANCE ALLTO THE ADVANTAGE OF THE END-USER. THEREFORE THEFOLLOWING IS RECOMMENDED:- HANDLE WITH CARE- KEEP DRY- STACKING OF OTHER OBJECTS ON THE APPLIANCE MUST BEABSOLUTELY AVOIDED.3 UNPACKING3.1 - Cardboard packing3.1.1 - Cut the band straps with scissors.3.1.2 - Lift the carton (the corner padding will also slide off).3.2 - Wooden packing3.2.1 - Unnail the wodden panels starting with the front and top.3.2.2 - Slide off the nylon wrapping over the top of the unit.3.3 - Nylon packing3.3.1 - After having removing the adhesive tape, slide off the nylonwrapping over the top of the unit.3.4 - Lift the appliance to separate it from the pallet.3.5 - Place the appliance on the ground in its chosen position.3.6 - Check for visible damage.3.7 - Keep the packing out of the reach of children as it could be adanger hazard.3.8 - Dispose of the packing to the specialised collection or recyclingpoints (respect existing regulations).3.9 - Check that the serial number corresponds to the transportdocuments.4 DISPOSAL OF UNITTo dispose of this appliance, before it is scrapped it must be renderedunoperational by removing the power cable, eliminating all parts of theappliance that could constitute a hazard and invalidate the lock, hingeand any other closing devices to avoid that children playing could betrapped inside or injured.IMPORTANTCOMPLY WITH LOCAL REGULATIONS IN FORCECONCERNING THE FINAL DISPOSAL OF THIS TYPE OFEQUIPMENT13
