-EN-3 – Mounting the core drill on the supportBe very careful when positioning the machine!There is a risk of injury. Wear protective gloves!To use the core drill, read and follow to the letter the safety instructionsindicated in the core drill manual.A – Assembling the Virax core drill 050116 on the support stand 050111The attachment is a quick prism attachment.1 – Slide the Virax core drill into the housing2 – Tighten using the side tightening lever.B – Assembling the Virax core drills 050126 and 050136 on the supportstand 0501211 – Move the guidance support upwards using the controllever until it locks.2 – Use the control lever to loosen the holding plate. Removethe plate.3 – Insert the 4 M8 x 20 socket head screws (delivered withthe support stand) to secure the holding plate to the core drill.The coupling is on the same side as the core drill’s speedselector. Tighten the 4 screws.4 – Insert the core drill with the holding plate into the support stand and tighten itwith the control lever.22

Remove the nut from the plate that holds the columnat 90°.2. Loosen the 2 screws between the support stand andthe column and select the angle you want.3. Tighten the 2 screws again.Water drillingFor the support stand 050121 only:4. The Phillips screw at the back of the column mustalso be loosened.CAUTION during tilted drilling, the drilling must bestarted very slowly.When using the core bit with water cooling, we recommend that you use awater collector. This is fixed to the base screw and guarantees cleandrilling.23
