Cet artiste né en Belgique mais Français, installé dans le sud de la
France et profondément attaché à l’Hexagone, célèbre dans le monde
entier pour ses installations monumentales, notamment en Afrique et
en Amérique du Sud, a conçu un merveilleux projet pour Notre-Dame
de Paris.
Jean Verame a été très touché par le drame qui a récemment connu
la cathédrale et a souhaité rendre hommage à cette grande dame de
pierre en réalisant deux volumes en vitrail, éclairés de l’intérieur, et
placés au sein même de la cathédrale, le premier étant une croix et le
second une dame de cœur.

Jean Verame was deeply affected
by the tragedy that recently
hit the cathedral and wanted
to give homage to the stone
edifice by making two stainedglass
volumes lit from the inside
and placed within the cathedral.
The first represents a cross and
the second a Queen of Hearts.
