Goodbye and welcome!
As always, this issue deals with the most recent innovations in the sectors in which Rodriquez operates, from the
presentation of the first two CityCat 29s built in the Brazil shipyard to the new Conam 80 Sport ⎯ a boat that marks
the entrance of Conam into the world of large open pleasure boats ⎯ to the life experiences of those who have
been working for some time in the group’s companies and a short step back to the first megayacht built by
Intermarine in 1997.
But I wish to devote this short editorial to introducing the engineer Marco Ragazzini, who, since March 4th has been the
new managing director of Rodriquez Cantieri Navali, and to say goodbye to the previous one, the engineer Giovanni
Morace. We would like to express our sincerest thanks to Giovanni Morace for having managed the group for all these
years and having been the driving force behind the transformation of a traditional Sicilian shipyard into one of the
Italy’s leading shipbuilders. In extending our warmest welcome to Marco Ragazzini, we are certain that he will be able
to manage the variegated world of Rodriquez with the same competence he showed in his previous posts. And Marco
Ragazzini’s commitment to continuing the group’s strategy of development and expansion will be complemented by the
Rodriquez Quarterly’s undertaking to provide its readers with increasingly rich and complete information.
Arrivederci e benvenuto
Le pagine di questo numero affrontano, come sempre, le novità più recenti legate ai settori nei quali opera la
Rodriquez, dalla presentazione dei primi due Citycat 29 costruiti nello stabilimento in Brasile, al nuovo Conam 80
Sport, l’imbarcazione che segna l’ingresso della Conam, nel mondo dei grandi open del diporto, alle esperienze di
vita di chi da tempo presta la sua opera nelle società del Gruppo, fino a fare un breve salto indietro nel tempo, al
primo megayacht costruito da Intemarine, nel 1997.
Ma voglio dedicare queste poche righe di editoriale per introdurre l’ing. Marco Ragazzini che dal 4 marzo scorso è il
nuovo amministratore delegato della Rodriquez Cantieri Navali, e per salutare il precedente, l’ing. Giovanni Morace.
All’ing. Giovanni Morace vanno i nostri più sentiti ringraziamenti, per aver diretto il Gruppo per tutti questi anni ed
essere stato fautore della trasformazione di un tradizionale cantiere siciliano in uno dei più importanti costruttori
navali italiani. All’ing. Marco Ragazzini, va il nostro più caloroso benvenuto, certi che saprà gestire il variegato mondo
Rodriquez con la stessa competenza dimostrata nei suoi precedenti incarichi. Al compito e all’impegno dell’ingegner
Marco Ragazzini di continuare la strategia di sviluppo e di espansione del Gruppo, Rodriquez Quarterly unisce il suo
impegno a fornire un’informazione sempre più ricca e più completa ai propri lettori.
