This catalogue of the Edizioni Suvini Zerboni has been closed on December 31, 2012.
It consists of the following parts:
where authors and compositions are indicated in alphabetical order.
A classified catalogue is printed separately.
The instrumentation of each orchestral work is given by figures in the usual order of the score
(basic instrumentation): 2.2.2.2.-4.3.3.1.-A.- meaning 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons (all
including piccolo, English-horn, bass-clarinet, doublebassoon), 4 horns, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones,
1 tuba, normal string quintet (A. - Archi meaning strings) if not specified otherwise.
For all other instruments we used the abbreviations contained in the list following this foreword.
The number placed before a title means that the composition is on sale as described. Otherwise,
the following abbreviations will be found:
MAT. N.: material on hire
MAT. V.: material on sale (minimum strings parts: 3.3.2.2.1.)
MAT.: material having a non-traditional distribution. Its supply has to be agreed
upon with the publisher
P. V.: large or medium score on sale
P.: the score will be supplied with the hire material or on perusal
p. V.: pocket score on sale
Rid. V.: vocal score or piano score on sale
Rid.: vocal score or piano score supplied with the hire material or on perusal.
Please check with the publisher the possibility of receiving it on sale
Ps. V.: solo part on sale
Ns. N.: tape (in the case of electronic music) on hire.
The number followed by the letter l (0000/l) means an opera libretto.
A composition followed only by the figure MAT. N. will be obviously delivered on hire with
the score.
The absence of indications concerning the first performance means that the publisher did not
receive any information on it.
– – – – – – – – – – – –
The title is also followed by the duration of the composition. Some works being aleatory we put
the figure «al.», the timing being determined by the performer.
