Il monoblocco a due canne dal disegno secco e pulito creato dalla Yamaha, è stato personalizzato
da Malossi con accorgimenti significativi e aggiornamenti che hanno consentito di incrementare
notevolmente l’alesaggio, senza compromettere l’equilibrio meccanico e termico originale.
Del tutto particolare è il progetto dei pistoni, forgiati in una lega speciale, e studiati per sopportare lo
stress da utilizzo su lunghe percorrenze.
Nulla è stato lasciato al caso, dalle guarnizioni allo spinotto biconico in acciaio superlegato e alla
fascia elastica in acciaio cromato e nitrurato.
Ogni particolare è un prezioso contributo perché questo gruppo termico sia veramente esclusivo: un
prodotto per una clientela raffinata e competente!

Yamaha’s clean design single block, twin cylinder was modified by Malossi with significant changes
and updates that allowed a substantial bore increase without compromising the original mechanical
and thermal integrity.
Of particular interest are the pistons, which are forged using a special alloy, analysed, and designed
to withstand the working stresses due to extended use.
Nothing was left to chance, from the gaskets to the lightweight, taper bore, high alloy steel gudgeon
pin to the chromed plated and gas nitride steel piston rings. Every detail is a precious contribution
in creating a very exclusive cylinder/piston set: a product for a discerning and well-informed
customer!

Le monobloc à 2 cylindres au dessin sec et propre créé par Yamaha a été personnalisé par Malossi en
profondeur par des évolutions qui ont consentis une augmentation de l’alésage sans compromettre
l’équilibre mécanique et thermique de l’origine.
Tout à fait particulier a été le réalisation des pistons, forgés dans un alliage spécial et étudié afin de
supporter le stress d’utilisation sur longue distance.
Rien n’a été laissé au hasard, des joints à l’axe de piston bi-conique en acier super attaché et
au segment élastique en acier chromé et nitruré. Chaque élément est une précieuse contribution
pour que ce groupe thermique soit vraiment exclusif : un produit pour une clientèle raffinée et
compétente!
