5. BRAKES: There are two brakes one operated<br />

by foot and the other operated by hand. Both<br />

brakes should be applied simultaneously for<br />

most effective braking.<br />

5.1 Foot Brake: Operates on the rear wheel.<br />

Press down brake pedal to apply the<br />

brake. The distance in which the scooter<br />

can be brought to a halt will <strong>de</strong>pend on<br />

the speed at which the vehicle is travelling<br />

and the user's driving habits. (Fig.<br />

26).<br />

5.2 Hand Brake: Operates on the front<br />

wheel. Press hand brake lever towards<br />

the twist grip (Fig. 27).<br />

6. FUEL SUPPLY<br />

6.1 The fuel tank is located un<strong>de</strong>r the seat<br />

(Fig. 28) and is accessible only when the<br />

seat is unlocked and lifted. For filling in<br />

p<strong>et</strong>rol unscrew the cap and close it after<br />

refuelling.<br />
