PROFILO PROFESSIONALE – PROFESSIONAL PROFILE<br />

<strong>David</strong> <strong>Chiaramonti</strong> è <strong>Ing</strong>egnere Meccanico, Dottore <strong>di</strong> Ricerca in <strong>Energetica</strong>, ricercatore a tempo determinato e<br />

Professore a contratto presso l’Università <strong>di</strong> Firenze per il corso Energie Rinnovabili (Laurea in <strong>Ing</strong>.Meccanica ed<br />

<strong>Ing</strong>.Ambiente e Territorio). Si è specializzato in Energia ed in Energie Rinnovabili (principalmente nei settori<br />

Biomassa, Eolico ed Idroelettrico) e Tecnologie Innovative, con particolare attenzione alla produzione <strong>di</strong> energia<br />

in zone rurali. Si è occupato <strong>di</strong> Trasferimento <strong>di</strong> Tecnologie e Know-how verso i Paesi Terzi (Cina ed In<strong>di</strong>a),<br />

Dissalazione (in combinazione con Fonti Rinnovabili <strong>di</strong> Energia), e Valutazione <strong>di</strong> Impatto Ambientale<br />

(Inquinamento Atmosferico).<br />

E’ stato ed è coor<strong>di</strong>natore e partner <strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong>versi progetti e stu<strong>di</strong> supportati dalla Commissione Europea (DGI-Aid,<br />

VI, XII-Research, XIII, XVII-Tren, JRC-Ispra), dalla World Bank (Asian Development Bank) e da Enti Nazionali<br />

(Min.Ambiente ed Agricoltura, Regioni, Province) nell’ambito dei settori <strong>di</strong> competenza, sviluppando competenze<br />

specifiche relativamente alla preparazione, presentazione, gestione e coor<strong>di</strong>namento <strong>di</strong> progetti Europei. E’<br />

esperto per la Commissione Europea per la valutazione <strong>di</strong> progetti R&D e <strong>di</strong> programmi Comunitari, e per il<br />

Ministero dell’Ambiente, il CRA-MIPAF, e la Regione Toscana.<br />

E’ membro <strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong>verse Associazioni, tra cui l’International Energy Agency, IEA-Bioenergy Task 34 (Biomass<br />

Pyrolysis), ed ISES-Italia. E’ stato consulente nel settore dei sistemi Qualità UNI-EN-ISO 9000 ed è qualificato<br />

dal CEPAS come External Au<strong>di</strong>tor per le norme ambientali UNI EN ISO 14000.<br />
