Wie eng diese beiden Be<strong>gr</strong>iffe miteinander verknüpft sind,das bewies vor kurzem das <strong>gr</strong>oße XAL-Event Light X7 in Graz: eine internationale Zusammenkunftvon kreativen und wirtschaftlichen Vordenkern aus den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen des globalenLicht-Business, die bei dieser Gelegenheit nicht nur den fachlichen Meinungsaustausch genossen,sondern vor allem auch das frühlingshafte Party-Feeling, das die Locations von Light X7 bis in diefrühen Morgenstunden durchwehte.Nicht weniger als vierhundert Gäste aus siebenundzwanzig Ländern fanden sich im neuen XAL-Headquarter in Graz ein, das bei dieser Gelegenheit die Qualität seiner neuen Größe auch in einerGastgeberrolle beweisen konnte: als zentraler Anlaufpunkt für Architekten, Lichtdesigner, Lichtplaner,Geschäftspartner, Kunden und Freunde aus sämtlichen Himmelsrichtungen.So warteten etwa die britischen Top-Lichtdesigner Speirs & Major Associates mit der Präsentationihrer Ausstellung „Made Of Light“ mit einem ganz besonderen Highlight für Light X7 auf, ebenso derrenommierte deutsche Lichtplaner Reinhard Vedder, Österreichs Architektur-Shooting Star in Frankreich,Dietmar Feichtinger, sowie der österreichische Lichtkünstler Max Frey, bei denen wir uns beidieser Gelegenheit für einige außergewöhnlich erhellende Momente bedanken wollen.Erhellt wurde bei dieser Gelegenheit natürlich auch einiges andere: etwa die Geheimnisse um dievielen Produktneuheiten von XAL und sämtliche Attraktionen des neuen XAL-Headquarters. Oderauch der mit Spannung erwartete neue XAL-Katalog Volume 07. Und auch einer der schönsten Orte,die Graz derzeit zu bieten hat: der imposante Dom im Berg, der mit seiner einzigartigen Architekturmitten im Felsen des Schloßbergs einen außergewöhnlichen Rahmen für das ebenso außergewöhnlicheabendliche Gala-Dinner von Light X7 lieferte – stilvoll von XAL STILA LED-Leuchten in einaußergewöhnliches neues Licht-Gewand gekleidet.E Light and lightness often live in close proximity to each other: where light is at home, the lustfor life is never far away. Just how closely these two terms are linked to one another was recentlydemonstrated at the major XAL event of Light X7 in Graz: an international meeting of creative andcommercially minded intellectual thinkers from a wide range of disciplines within the global lightingbusiness, who on this occasion enjoyed not only the expert exchange of opinions, but above all thespring-like party feeling that permeated through the locations of Light X7 right through to the earlyhours of the morning.No fewer than four hundred guests from twenty-seven countries gathered at the new XAL headquartersin Graz, which on this occasion also proved the quality of its new size in a hosting role: as a centralpoint of contact for architects, lighting designers, lighting planners, business partners, customersand friends from all points of the compass.For example, top British lighting designers Speirs & Major Associates served up a truly special highlightfor Light X7 with their exhibit entitled “Made Of Light”, as did renowned German lighting designerReinhard Vedder, Austria’s architectural shooting star in France, Dietmar Feichtinger, and Austrianlighting artist Max Frey – we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for some extraordinarilyenlightening moments.A few other things were also enlightened at this event: such as the secrets surrounding the manynew products from XAL and all the attractions of the new XAL headquarters. And also one of the loveliest places that Graz currently has tooffer: the imposing cathedral in Berg which, with its unique architecture amidst the rocks of theSchloßberg, provided an extraordinary setting for the equally extraordinary evening gala dinner ofLight X7 – stylishly dressed in XAL STILA LED lights in an extraordinary new apparel of light.I Luminosità e leggerezza spesso nella vita formano un binomio perfetto: dove è di casa la luce,sicuramente si troverà anche la gioia di vivere. Il <strong>gr</strong>ande evento Light X7 organizzato da XAL a Grazha dimostrato recentemente quanto stretto sia il legame tra questi due concetti: operatori dei piùsvariati settori dell’attività globale della luce, anticipatori di tendenze creative ed economiche, intervenutiin questo raduno internazionale per uno scambio d'idee professionale, hanno approfittatodell’occasione soprattutto anche per godersi l’atmosfera di festa primaverile che ha pervaso fino alleprime ore del mattino le location di Light X7.Non meno di quattrocento ospiti provenienti da ventisette paesi si sono ritrovati nel nuovo quartier generaledi XAL a Graz, che in questa occasione ha saputo celebrare la sua nuova dimensione con una provadi <strong>gr</strong>ande qualità anche nel ruolo di padrone di casa: come punto centrale di approdo per architetti,designer, progettisti illuminotecnici, business partner, clienti e amici giunti da ogni parte del globo.Tra gli altri celebrità come i designer britannici Speirs & Major Associates che con la presentazione dellaloro mostra “Made Of Light” hanno onorato Light X7 con un evento particolare, o l’altrettanto rinomatoprogettista illuminotecnico tedesco Reinhard Vedder, la star austriaca della foto<strong>gr</strong>afia architettonicache vive in Francia, Dietmar Feichtinger, e poi l’artista delle luci austriaco Max Frey. A tutti loro va ilnostro sentito rin<strong>gr</strong>aziamento per averci regalato momenti assolutamente illuminanti.Naturalmente questa è stata l’occasione per mettere in luce anche altri aspetti: ad esempio sono staterivelate molte novità sul fronte dei prodotti XAL e illustrate tutte le attrazioni del nuovo quartiergenerale di XAL. O ancora il nuovo attesissimo catalogo XAL, volume 07. Darüber erhebt sich der zentraleBibliotheksbereich als mehrgeschossigerGroßraum. The building’sdesign arranges public functions such as a conferencecentre, exhibition spaces, book shop, children’slibrary and library administration in the plinthsection. Above this, the central library area rises asa large, multi-storey space. Particular importancein the overall design is paid to the library garden: Itis designed as a themed garden and world ofexperience, with the aim of stimulating all the sensesof the visitor. Un’importanzaparticolare nell’intervento generale viene attribuitaal giardino della biblioteca, concepito come giardinotematico e mondo di esperienze, che si proponedi stimolare tutti i sensi del visitatore.
