Richmond Expo Offers Peek At State-of-Art Equipment, Technology PHOTOS BY PETER FOUNTAIN Richmond, Va.– The 33 rd Annual Richmond Expo, also known as the East Coast Sawmill & Logging Equipment Exposition, recently welcomed double the attendance from 2010. This year’s event was held at Richmond Raceway Complex and co-sponsored by the Virginia Forest Products Association and the Cooperative Extension Service at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Richmond Expo offers the year’s largest collection of sawmilling, kiln drying, harvesting, biomass, trucking, pallet manufacturing/recycling, optimization/scanning, material handling, firewood protection and related equipment, supplies and services. Expo attendees enjoyed the opportunity to compare current equipment to the latest state-of-the-art, most technologically advanced equipment on the market.
