Pennsylvania Facilities Welcome WCMA Tours Photos By Jonathan McBride Lewisburg, PA–Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA) members and technology partners convened here recently to participate in the 2014 WCMA Fall Conference & Plant Tour. Attendees were hosted in several educational sessions and toured six plants in the Lewisburg area. Among the plants toured were: • Tilo Industries, Lewisburg, PA, which expanded from a small two-man moulding shop to today’s 24,000-square-foot facility that employs 25 people servicing both national and international markets. Tilo’s processing equipment includes an optimizing rip saw and optimizing chop saw, along with stateof-the-art moulders and several smaller machines to produce a wide variety of products. For more information, visit online www.tiloindustries.com. • Heister House Millworks, located in Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA, has been manufacturing quality mouldings and millwork since 1988. Located in the heart of Pennsylvania Hardwood country, Heister House prides itself on being a one-stop-shop for wood products. The company has been a manufacturer of doors and wood components in the kitchen cabinet industry since 1964. Conestoga’s manufacturing capabilities cover five facilities with two located in central Pennsylvania: Beavertown and Beaver Springs. The Beavertown location serves as a dimension mill supplying Conestoga’s custom and OEM divisions. Beaver Springs is home to OEM and contract manufacturing for high volume products.
