Deer Park Lumber Welcomes Penn-York Members By Paul Miller Jr. Findley Lake, NY–Members and guests of the Penn- York Lumbermen’s Club met here recently at the Peek ‘n Peak Resort to enjoy a day of golf, dinner and networking with lumber industry peers. Deer Park Lumber Inc. hosted this meeting. 50 attendees participated in the golf game, which Craig Cox of American Eagle Forest Products (Chicago, IL) won low gross with a score of 73. He was followed by Greg Fitzpatrick of Fitzpatrick & Weller Inc. (Ellicottville, NY) with a score of 77. Low net winners were Bruce Horner of Abenaki Timber Corp. (Kingston, NH) and Jack Matson of Salamanca Lumber Co. (Salamanca, NY), who both scored 66. Dinner followed at the resort’s lodge with 67 in attendance. Deer Park Lumber is a multi-generational family-owned Hardwood sawmill that purchases native Hardwoods, such as Red and White Oak, Cherry, Ash, Hard and Soft Maple, Beech, Birch, Poplar and Basswood.
