STEP.3. Once you have cut out the back stand you can cover the stand and back board with your chose of paper and colour scheme. Pick about 5 or 6 different coloured, textured and style craft’s paper. Go as bright or colour coordinated as you like. Tear or cut into small different sizes. And we ready for out next step. STEP. 5. Then brush a layer of the PVA glue over nice and thick, it gives it a protective and shiny film over the frame once dry. Then accessorize as you like…for instance pretty buttons, ribbons, dry leafs, feathers ect. STEP.4. Time for the craft glue and paint brush….start from one side and work your way around the frame over lapping the pieces of paper so you don’t see any of the white paper underneath when you are complete. Some of the paper can be stubborn so tuck it away with tape on the inside of the frame. STEP.6. Fold the top of the stand about 2 cm to create the bend that stands have. Now use the double sided tape to help construct your frame put the tape along the top of the back stand. And on three sides of the back board. STEP.7. Ready, now assemble. Back stand to the top middle of the back board, and then the back board to the frame. But be careful to place it in the right place the first time because we don’t want the paper to tear. Remember to have the none taped side at the top or the side to slide your photo’s in so they don’t fall out easy. STEP. 8. To help the back stand to only open so wide so it doesn’t fall over tape a small piece of ribbon between the back stand and back board.
And there is the end product with a pretty picture. Some other idea’s you could do the same technique on. Note books, phone books, diary, old photo album, dry flower vases, and pot pourri bowels. And even revamp small old table top.
