niets van elkaar te missen. Zodat zij elkaar altijd kunnen herkennen. Door het
huidcontact, het grootste zintuig, de geur, door de stem geluiden , de lieve
woordjes, door het oog contact, de bewondering. Vanuit dit eerste contact
ontstaat er een zeer sterke band, een verliefdheid, een oxytocine- productie.
Deze oxytocine zorgt dat haar baarmoeder een heel sterke wee krijgt om de
placenta los te laten, en het bloedverlies te remmen. Dit kan pas gebeuren
als allebei, moeder en kind er aan toe zijn.
Als dit proces overhaast is, als de navelstreng geknipt wordt voordat hij stopt
met kloppen, kan de ´ignition` bij het kind niet compleet gebeuren. De
placenta is een deel van het kind, de geboorte van de placenta is een deel
van zijn eigen geboorte. Het laatste deel wat van het kind wordt geboren.
Tegenwoordig wordt zelfs geëxperimenteerd om de navelstreng helemaal
niet te knippen. In “ lotus bevallingen” blijft de placenta bij het kind totdat de
navelstreng vanzelf loslaat; meestal binnen een week postpartum.
In zijn boek: Craniosacral Biodynamics spreekt Franklyn Sills over de “Umbilical
Shock “ met vele gezondheidsconsequenties waaronder: Een lage levens
energie/ stofwisseling klachten/ laag zelfbeeld…… wij moeten niet vergeten
dat de placenta een deel van het kind is sinds het begin van het embryonale
leven. En dat het met respect behandeld moet worden, met inachtneming
van het juiste moment.
