LEUVEN KORT RELOADED
Ter gelegenheid van de 10e verjaardag compileerde “Leuven Kort” de hoogtepunten uit een decennium festival. De meest
opvallende, ontroerende, vernieuwende, bevreemdende, indrukwekkende, grappige en zonder uitzondering steengoede films in
10 hoofdstukken. De films werden verdeeld in 4 programma’s professionele films (Life - Strange Stories - Love - Big Cities) , 3
programma’s eindwerken van filmscholen (Bittersweet - Twisted Fiction - Reality Bites), 2 programma’s animatiefilms (Animagic
1 en 2) en 1 programma prijswinnaars van de Europese Kortfilmcompetitie 2001-2003.
For its 10th birthday, “Leuven Kort” has compiled the highlights from its 10 past editions: the most striking, moving, renewing,
stupefying, impressive, funny and, most of all, good films were put together in 10 chapters. The films were divided into 4
programmes of professional films (Life - Strange Stories - Love - Big Cities), 3 programmes of film school graduation projects
(Bittersweet - Twisted Fiction - Reality Bites), 2 programmes of short animation (Animagic 1 and 2) and 1 programme of the
European Short Film Prize winners of 2001-2003.
LIFE
VINCENT (Gert Embrechts)

Bij zijn geboorte verloor Vincent een oor. Dit maakt hem, buiten zijn wil om, anders
dan de anderen. Het verschil tracht hij te verbergen onder een blauwe muts. Een naïef
verhaaltje over een hartstochtelijke zoektocht naar aanvaarding.
Vincent lost an ear at birth. This makes him different from the others. He tries to hide it
by wearing a blue cap. A naïve story about a heartfelt quest for acceptance.
