Burkitt’s lymfoom<br />
• Endemisch (tropisch Afrika <strong>en</strong> Nieuw-<br />
Guinea) ⇨ tumor wang<br />
• Sporadisch (alle leeftijd<strong>en</strong>!) ⇨ abdominaal,<br />
maligne pleura- of peritoneale uitstorting<strong>en</strong><br />
• Immuundeficiëntie-gerelateerd: AIDS,<br />
orgaantransplantatie<br />
• Rol EBV! (niet bij sporadische gevall<strong>en</strong>)<br />
Perifeer bloed:<br />
- meestal ge<strong>en</strong> abnormaliteit<strong>en</strong> (wel bij<br />
ziekteprogressie <strong>en</strong> AIDS)<br />
Be<strong>en</strong>merg:<br />
- 5-20% be<strong>en</strong>merginfiltratie<br />
- blast<strong>en</strong>: medium grootte, relatief uniform,<br />
ronde nuclei, zichtbare nucleoli, zeer sterk<br />
basofiel cytoplasma, vacuolisatie<br />
