GBside plates, must be repaired by anapproved engineer before it is used again.It is also essential to regularly check thecondition of the traversing beam and ifnecessary clean it to prevent theaccumulation of grease or dust which couldprevent the trolley from moving correctly.VI - TROUBLESHOOTINGIf the trolley does not move smoothly andfreely along the traversing beam :• Check that there is no obstacle on thetraversing beam.• Check that the running wheels runsmoothly and correctly.• Check that the running wheel pins arenot damaged.• Check that the spacing of the trolley iscorrectly adjusted in relation to the widthof the traversing beam.• Check that the curved radius of thetraversing beam is not smaller than thetechnical capacities of the trolley used.• Check that any curve is not distorted ortwisted at any point.• Check the good surface condition of thelower flange of the beam.VII - HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORKIt is the responsibility of every company toensure that its employees have been fullyand properly trained in the safe operation ofthe equipment.Before using the equipment, check that allthe safety devices are in place and operatecorrectly (section VI-5).It is recommended that corso trolleys musthave an initial inspection on first installationand subsequent periodic inspection.
