This special edition of Et Alors? Magazine is exceptionally written in Dutch instead of English. In 2014, the city of Ghent, Belgium signed the Rainbow-declaration. A manifest in which everyone engaged themselves towards an open and tolerant LGBT policy. The city council, The police force, yes, even the local soccer team went aboard, campaigning for gay tolerance in sports. Since Fleur was born and raised in Ghent, she didn’t give it a second thought when the city asked her and Julian to make an Et Alors? Magazine special about Ghent. They interviewed council member Resul Tapmaz, who’s in charge of equal opportunities, and talked about the necessity of a Rainbow-declaration. They researched the benefits of a ‘pink house’ and an organization such as Transgender Info. But since Et Alors? Magazine is above all an art project, Fleur & Julian searched for the gender, feminist, and queer artists that inhabit the city. 5.000 copies of Et Alors? Magazine – The Ghent edition were handed out for free during the summer of 2014, thereby spreading diversity in a city who’s council chooses to work towards a positive change.

begonnen met het geven van een gezicht aan<br />
zowel coaches en starters. We praten niet meer<br />
over ‘de instelling’ maar over ‘de persoon’. Door<br />
onze ervaring met zowel De Invasie als met<br />
onze persoonlijke opstart, hebben we gemerkt<br />
dat drempels best zo laag mogelijk zijn.<br />
Bert De toekomst ziet er druk maar goed uit.<br />
Met De Invasie hebben we ondertussen al vrij<br />
veel evenementen in België gedaan en we<br />
zijn blij te merken dat er nog geen sleet op<br />
de formule zit. Om het echter spannend te<br />
houden voor onszelf zijn we het op dit moment<br />
wat groter aan het bekijken. We zijn vorig<br />
jaar begonnen met de eerste keer Milaan,<br />
hetgeen we dit jaar wegens succes herhalen.<br />
We zijn in Riga geweest, gaan dit jaar naar<br />
Amsterdam en zijn aan het kijken om in 2015<br />
Gdansk aan te doen. We zijn dus een beetje<br />
aan het uitzwermen. In het begin waren we een<br />
Gentse club met voornamelijk ontwerpers uit<br />
het Gentse, maar op dit moment haken ook veel<br />
mensen uit andere steden en uit het buitenland<br />
aan. Dat is ook een beetje het principe van De<br />
Invasie; die bredere kijk.<br />
Yves En wat Dift betreft willen we graag<br />
nog een culturele organisatie in onze<br />
klantenportefeuille. We horen het graag als<br />
iemand zich aangesproken voelt!<br />
