PREFACE<br />
This publication includes and carries on "Catal<strong>og</strong>ue de la statistique officielle de<br />
la Norvège pour les années 1828 à 1950" (NOS XI 63, publ. 1961) and "Publications in the<br />
series Norwegian official statistics 1950-1973" (NOS A 615, publ. 1974). It c<strong>over</strong>s the period<br />
up to 1976.<br />
The bibli<strong>og</strong>raphy consists of two parts. The main part is a chronol<strong>og</strong>ical list where<br />
the publications are arranged by series and subseries (NOS, SA, SOS, etc.). In the second<br />
part the publications are systematized and grouped by the Bureau's standard classification<br />
system of subject groups. In addition there are author and title indexes.<br />
The publication has been prepared by Marit Asphaug, Turid Greiff, Kari Haabrekke,<br />
Tone Eli Moseid <strong>og</strong> Jens Petter Svånå, as thesis at the Norwegian school of librarianship, 1978.<br />
