Preparing the wall cupboard Ensure that there is a minimum gapbetween hob and extractor hood of 650mm (for gas hobs) or 430 mm (for electrichobs).This extractor hood has been designedfor installation inside a wall cupboard withthe following dimensions:Width: 600 mmDepth: 280 bis 350 mmHeight:at least 280 mm.Preparation:1. Remove bottom panel of cupboard – iffitted. The stability of the cupboard must bemaintained.2. Mark two points – right and left – on theinside of the cupboard where the hoodis to be mounted, and start the hole witha gimlet.Details for drilling:l 2 mm – max. 10 mm deep.Use enclosed template OII for markingpoints where hood is to be mounted.Caution:❑ The mounting points shown on thetemplate have been configured in sucha way as to allow a 20 mm thick handleto be attached flush with the front edgesof the cupboard.❑ If no handle is going to be attached, themounting points must be broughtforward by 20 mm.If the cupboard depth is greater than280 mm, the hood can be mounted furtherback,. . . if the light strip under the cupboard. . . units is mounted further back,. . . if the handle is more than 20 mm thick.To do this, move the mounting pointsfurther towards the back by thecorresponding distance.3. Align the 4 enclosed mounting bracketsand screw them on tight.12
