microsatellite markers P23 (217) and P10 (108) are linked to the characteristic of <strong>sexual</strong><br />
compatibility. The characteristic color of fruit did not show significant linkage to any of<br />
the microsatellites tested. The existence of segregation of the trait <strong>sexual</strong><br />
compatibility and color of fruit means that this population to be used in genetic<br />
mapping studies for these characteristics.<br />
