O Turismo em 2009 Região Autónoma dos Açores Na perspectiva das tipologias, a Região Autónoma dos Açores registou, nos hotéis, as suas médias de ocupação-cama mais elevadas, quando a referência são os dias feriados e fins de semana (36,4%), seguidos pelos hotéis-apartamentos com 35,8%. Relativamente aos dias úteis, as médias igualaram-se nestas duas tipologias referidas e situaram-se em 35,7%. A superioridade das médias de ocupação-cama em feriados e fins de semana face aos dias úteis manifestou-se pouco acentuada nesta região, quer seja em hotéis (+2,4 p.p.) ou em hotéis- apartamentos (+0,3 p.p.). No caso dos apartamentos turísticos, os dias úteis foram, inclusive, ligeiramente superiores (+0,5 p.p.) Taxas de ocupação-cama* por tipologias na R. A. O Turismo em 2009 Região Autónoma dos Açores Nesta região, os hotéis-apartamentos destacaram-se como a tipologia que apresentou não só a taxa média de ocupação-quarto mais elevada (58,4%), como também a mais elevada média de RevPar (26,6€).
