Performance<br />
A Área Regional <strong>de</strong> <strong>Turismo</strong> <strong>de</strong> Lisboa e Vale<br />
do Tejo (ART LVT) atingiu, <strong>em</strong> <strong>2009</strong>, mais <strong>de</strong><br />
67 mil camas, distribuídas por 434<br />
estabelecimentos hoteleiros e 13<br />
al<strong>de</strong>amentos e apartamentos turísticos,<br />
levando a que a região tenha registado uma<br />
quota <strong>de</strong> 25% no total <strong>de</strong> camas do país.<br />
Esta capacida<strong>de</strong> <strong>em</strong> camas aumentou 2,2%<br />
<strong>em</strong> <strong>2009</strong> (+1.481 camas), com 68% <strong>de</strong>sse<br />
aumento a incidir <strong>em</strong> hotéis (+1.014 camas<br />
<strong>em</strong> 5 novos hotéis). Verifica-se assim, que os<br />
201 hotéis com 48.138 camas que a região<br />
dispunha, <strong>em</strong> <strong>2009</strong>, representavam 71% do<br />
total <strong>de</strong> camas da região, o que atribui, <strong>em</strong><br />
média, 239 camas por hotel. A maioria das<br />
camas existentes na ART LVT localizava-se<br />
na Gran<strong>de</strong> Lisboa (70%, ou seja, mais <strong>de</strong> 46<br />
mil camas) com os hotéis, <strong>de</strong> novo, a atingir<br />
a quota mais elevada (76% que se traduziu<br />
<strong>em</strong>, aproximadamente, 37 mil camas).<br />
O Pólo <strong>de</strong> Desenvolvimento Turístico do<br />
Oeste (PDT Oeste), que está integrado nesta<br />
ART, representou, no ano <strong>em</strong> análise, 10%<br />
das camas da ART, ou seja, 6.828 camas <strong>em</strong><br />
61 estabelecimentos hoteleiros e 4<br />
al<strong>de</strong>amentos e apartamentos turísticos.<br />
