Vivendo em uma isolada propriedade rural, um
velho fazendeiro e sua filha dividem uma rotina
monótona. Os dois contemplam a vista da janela e
se deparam com mudanças esporádicas no mundo à
sua volta: um vizinho discursa sobre o colapso e a
degradação do mundo e um grupo de ciganos passa
pelo local. Enquanto isso, o cavalo da fazenda se
recusa a comer e a andar. Uma recriação do que
teria acontecido ao cavalo que Nietzsche defendeu
de maus-tratos em Turim, em 1889, no início da
perda de suas faculdades mentais. Urso de Prata e

An old farmer and his daughter have a dull routine living
in a secluded rural area. The two gaze out their window
over changes in the world around them: a neighbor
carries on about the decline and collapse of the
world and a group of gypsies comes through the area.
Meanwhile, their farm horse stops eating and refuses to
walk. A recreation of what could have happened to the
horse that Nietzsche defended from mistreatment in
Turin in 1889, when he began to lose his mind. Silver
Bear and FIPRESCI prize, Berlin Film Festival 2011.
