Hédi lives in her spacious apartment with her son<br />
János and her nurse Anna, with her boyfriend<br />
Miklós. Frequent fights between Hédi and János go<br />
to another level when, unbeknownst to his mother,<br />
János invites Tibor, a broke professor, to come stay<br />
at their home. János is just waiting for his mother to<br />
die so he can get his inheritance, while Anna and<br />
Miklós try to cultivate their relationship with Hédi.<br />
Entangled in disputes and power struggles, these<br />
five characters turn the apartment into an increasingly<br />
suffocating and destructive place. Ernest<br />
