A<br />
Yonic é uma organização não-governamental<br />
fundada em Genebra, Suíça, e atuando <strong>no</strong> sul<br />
da Bahia desde 2004.<br />
Dentro de vários projetos socioambientais ela se concentra<br />
na questão de gerenciamento dos resíduos<br />
sólidos em lixões na Mata Atlântica.<br />
Hoje a Yonic esta se re-estruturando com dois projetos:<br />
uma residência de artista <strong>in</strong>ternacional junto<br />
à preservação de manguezal na península de Maraú<br />
e um programa de gestão de resíduos sólidos com<br />
catadores na região de Ilhéus.<br />

<strong>Swiss</strong> community <strong>in</strong> <strong>Brazil</strong><br />
Yonic<br />
Yonic is a <strong>no</strong>n-governmental organization which<br />
was founded <strong>in</strong> Geneva, Switzerland, and has been<br />
operat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the south of Bahia s<strong>in</strong>ce 2004.<br />
Among its various socioenvironmental projects the<br />
company is focused on the issue of solid waste management<br />
<strong>in</strong> dumps <strong>in</strong> the Mata Atlântica (ra<strong>in</strong>forest).<br />
Today, Yonic is be<strong>in</strong>g restructured with two projects:<br />
a residence for <strong>in</strong>ternational artists alongside the<br />
preservation of mangroves <strong>in</strong> the pen<strong>in</strong>sula of Maraú,<br />
and a solid waste management program with waste<br />
pickers <strong>in</strong> the region of Ilhéus.<br />
