O jornalismo passa por uma mudança de<br />
paradigma, onde as plataformas digitais<br />
estão mais presentes, fazendo, muitas<br />
vezes, com que o jornalista nem precise<br />
de sair de frente do seu computador.<br />
Tendo em conta que a sua revista<br />
é uma das pioneiras nesta área que<br />
opinião tem sobre este fenómeno<br />
Por altura dos anos 90, em inúmeras conferências<br />
a que assisti, professores universitários,<br />
profissionais da comunicação<br />
referiam abundantemente o termo “Aldeia<br />
Global”. Recordo-me em particular, do saudoso<br />
Rui Romano. Nessa época esse tema era para nós<br />
mais teórico, que prático. Mas em curtos anos, revelou-<br />
-se um facto a considerar. As plataformas digitais são ferramentas<br />
muito úteis e que complementam o nosso trabalho<br />
de campo. A sua enorme vantagem competitiva é alargar as<br />
nossas fronteiras de comunicação e o tempo útil das notícias.<br />

The competition has increased year<br />
after year. How do you see this emergence<br />
of new editorial projects<br />
The competition is very salutary, and this statement<br />
is not rhetoric. The existence of more and<br />
good editorial projects helps us to assert our major role<br />
in the society more cohesively.<br />
You have been associated with events that highlight and<br />
stress the role of the women in the Angolan society.<br />
Ao utilizarmos as vias tradicionais e as digitais somos<br />
um veículo incontornável.<br />
Há, inclusivamente, quem defenda que o<br />
formato tradicional de uma redacção tem<br />
os dias contados. Concorda com essa<br />
visão<br />
Concordo que devemos ser complementares.<br />
A África <strong>Today</strong> é um bom exemplo. Temos<br />
uma redacção em Lisboa e outra em Luanda.<br />
Alguns dos nossos profissionais nem<br />
sequer se conhecem pessoalmente, no entanto,<br />
trabalham em conjunto, existe espírito de equipa<br />
e tiramos partido destas duas plataformas.<br />

What message do you usually transmit in<br />
this kind of initiative<br />
I believe that remains being important to<br />
persist in the appreciation of women,<br />
in the respect for the difference and<br />
in the promotion of the education for<br />
young women. The woman is the<br />
hinge of the home, but she is also a<br />
professional in an increasingly demanding<br />
and competitive world. My<br />
message is that an increasing recognition<br />
should be attributed to entrepreneur<br />
women, as well as more and better<br />
opportunities must be provided.<br />
