rotecţia juridică a desenelor şi modelelor industriale în Republica Moldova se asigură în temeiul
înregistrării lor la AGEPI în modul stabilit de Legea privind protecţia desenelor şi modelelor
industriale nr. 991-XIII din 15 octombrie 1996, modificată şi completată prin Legea nr. 1079-XIV din
23.06.2000 şi Legea nr. 1446-XV din 08.11.2002.
Cererea de înregistrare a desenului sau modelului industrial se depune la AGEPI, personal sau prin
reprezentant în proprietatea industrială, de către persoana care dispune de dreptul la certificat. Cererea
trebuie să conţină documentele prevăzute în art. 11(3) din Lege.
Desenele şi modelele industriale înregistrate pe cale naţională se publică în BOPI.
Desenele şi modelele industriale înregistrate conform Aranjamentului de la Haga, la care Republica Moldova
este parte, se publică în limbile franceză şi engleză în Buletinul de Desene şi Modele Internaţionale (“Bulletin
des dessins et modeles internationaux/ International Designs Bulletin”). Buletinul, editat pe suport electronic,
include atât datele bibliografice, cât şi reproducerile desenelor/modelelor industriale şi este expus în biblioteca
AGEPI, accesibil publicului. În BOPI se publică listele acestor desene şi modele, aranjate în ordinea
numerelor de înregistrare internaţională şi a claselor CIDMI.
Pentru etichete şi ambalaje ponderea semantică a părţii verbale nu se protejează.

egal protection of the industrial designs in the Republic of Moldova shall be afforded on the
basis of registration with the AGEPI carried out in accordance with the Law on the Protection of
Industrial Designs No 991-XIII of October 15, 1996, amended and completed by the Law No 1079-XIV of
June 23, 2000 and the Law No 1446-XV of November 08, 2002.
The industrial design application shall be filed with the AGEPI in person or through a representative in
industrial property, by the person to whom the right to the certificate belongs. The application shall
contain the documents provided in Art. 11(3) of the Law.
Industrial designs registered under the national procedure shall be published in the Official Bulletin of
Industrial Property.
Industrial designs registered under the Hague Agreement to which the Republic of Moldova is party, shall be
published in French and English in the “International Designs Bulletin/Bulletin des dessins et modeles
internationaux”. The Bulletin published on the electronic carrier comprises both bibliographic data and
industrial design reproductions and is available for public in the AGEPI library. In the BOPI shall be published
designs arranged in the order of the international registration numbers and of the ICID classes.
For labels and packings the semantic weight of the verbal part is not protected.
