education it is c learly w ritten: “Teacher of French”. Both at
school and at the Faculty it was the women who made me
“French”. So, I am to a great extent a man with female education.
To possess som ebody constantly is not a joy, satisfac tion that
ends in boredom, cons equently I run away from it. Yet m y wife
possesses me entirely. I do not do it, she does it. Bec ause each
time when I am c arried away on the wings of thoughts, I come
bac k to her. Be ing steady in all fr iendships , I do not accept the
man from Topirceanu’s verses: “Good-bye, my darling, I am
taking my suitcase and leaving”.
- Which question would you lik e to have an exhaustive answer
to?
-I am eager to know what c omes after death. Holy books of
all nations say that there is Life, if you behave w ell here, on
Earth. But none of those who had an exemplary behavior here on
Earth c ame back, not even for a second from the Unknown.
Absolutely everybody dies. Even Gods disappeared. I do not
believe those who say that they believe. They have no arguments.
But it is also bad not to believe. That is why I derive c onsolation
from the thought that I will be near my forefathers in my native
village cemetery.
I dislike the orthodox enthusiasm of Petrea Ţuţea. The
pessimism of Emil Cioran is closer to reality, bec ause he reflects
the human’s incapability of penetrating into the mysteries of the
unknown infinite.
