15Taifas Literary Magazine, No. 12, June, 2021Mili DasKolkata IndiaShanta FarjanaBangladeshI have to win this fight.Death scares me all the time.But I wouldn't be afraid.Society is scaring me.People are scaring me.The government is scaring me.All the news channels arescaring me.If I keep my eyes on thenewspaper,i can only see the fire ofthe furnace is burning.We don't know when thisfire will be extinguished?But I don't get scared soeasily.No one is giving mecourage.I made myself brave.When someone scares me,I sing,i dance,i read and write.Whenever I have time ,I talk with my poetry.And smiles like crazy with joy.No one can keep me well,Only I can keep myself well.I will backIf the body doesn't accompany me,I know my mind will accompany me.I must return after winning this epidemic.I'll be back.I have to win this fight and I have to.EyesEvery human being has three eyesTwo eyes; everyone can seeTwo eyes; can see everythingBut, in the deepest corner of the mindThat third eye does not know how to blinkNot everyone can see that eyeThat eye never criesNever laughsNever becomes gloomyAlways stays silentThe eye is vibrant in thebend of everyone's heartwave.Robbers third eye is blind;Can't see the wailing ofthe people.The eyes of some doctorsare trickish;As it’s the matter ofamused; patient bendedby test-drug as burden.The eye of a few unborn men believes inmagical powers; 24 hours finding the triangleinside of the woman.And, the eyes of the public representative areempty!They have no past-history, no futureconsciousness.They just drop their hands and feet to fulfil thecurrent bag.And that hiding eye of a woman;Sometimes desertSometimes seaSometimes a reeling hurricaneHowever, not everyone can see it...Because, not everyone sees...year I, no. 12, 2021, June ISSN 2458-0198 – ISSN-L 2458-0198
