The Bamse AD fire units can be operated in
stand-alone mode or more effectively linked with
GIRAFFE AMB Air Surveillance Radar to form
combat ready Air Defence Units. In addition to
locating traditional Air Targets, GIRAFFE AMB
can track and locate enemy rocket and mortar
firings providing impact warning and firing data
for Counter Battery Operations.
