UNDP Kosovo, Kosova Foundation for Open Society (KFOS), and the Offi ce of the Prime
Minister, have developed the CDF Project with the main objective to support the central and
municipal institutions of Kosovo in strengthening democratic institutions and improving public
administration. The Government of Norway is graciously supporting the CDF Project since
November 2004.
We are looking for a local, regional or Diaspora expert with proven professional experience to work
as a CDF Economy Advisor with the Strpce Municipality/Mayor Offi ce.
The advisor shall work closely with the Mayor and will provide advice, professional guidance,
and support in better functioning of the municipal structure. In this instance the CDF Economy
Advisor is required to support and give recommendations to the Mayor in: identifying priorities
in increasing overall capacities of the administration; providing a platform for drafting Strategy
of Local Social and Economic Development; increasing own source revenue and planning more
balanced and sustainable budget for 2012.
Requirements The ideal candidate shall posses the following:
BA (ideally MA) in Economy or related fi eld;
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as advisor;
Excellent knowledge of local governmental dynamics and budgeting
in Kosovo and in drafting local strategies and policies;
Previous experience in international development projects;
Experience in politically challenging environment;
Entrepreneurial experience and strong analytical skills;
Experience in knowledge and skills transfer;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Excellent team working abilities and self initiative;
Excellent written and communication skills in both Albanian and
Serbian; knowledge of English language is desirable.
Additional Remuneration shall be calculated according to relevant qualifi cations and
information experience.

The U.S. Embassy Pristina invites you to submit a quote for Perimeter fencing and lighting project
for NEC.
If you intend to submit a quotation, you should thoroughly examine all documents contained
in the solicitation package that could be reviewed and downloaded on the offi cial US Embassy
webpage http://pristina.usembassy.gov and arrange for a personal inspection of the project site
by a representative from your company. The U.S. Embassy intends to conduct a pre-proposal site
visit at the site, and all prospective off erors who are interested in this solicitation should notify us
their attendance at the following address: PristinaProcurement@state.gov
The site visit will be held at US Embassy Pristina, new compound, str. Ahmet Krasniqi nn, nearby
the new Pristina Municipality, Arberia / Dragodan, Pristina, Kosovo on May 26, 2011 at 10:30am.
Your quote must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Quotation Enclosed” to the Contracting
Offi cer, Todd Katschke, Nazim Hikmet No. 30, Pristina, Kosovo before 17:00h on May 31, 2011.
No quote will be accepted after this time.
The USEP intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an
acceptable quotation at the lowest price.
The enclosed Standard Form 18 should be completed by the off eror along with the solicitation
package
