DEFINITIONS AND EXPLANATIONS<br />
2008, ki je nadomestila prej veljavno klasifikacijo SKD 2002. Nova klasifikacija prinaša<br />
številne spremembe in dopolnitve, ki so posledica strukturnih sprememb v gospodarstvu<br />
v zadnjih letih. Najve~ sprememb je na podro~ju tr`nih storitvenih dejavnosti in na<br />
podro~ju predelovalnih dejavnosti.<br />
Podjetje je registrirana pravna ali fizi~na oseba, ki je med letom opazovanja izkazala<br />
prihodek ali zaposlene osebe oziroma osebe, ki delajo, in opravlja kot glavno dejavnost<br />
eno izmed dejavnosti Standardne klasifikacije dejavnosti (SKD). Podatki za leto 2008<br />
zajemajo podjetja, ki kot svojo glavno dejavnost opravljajo eno izmed dejavnosti<br />
Standardne klasifikacije dejavnosti (SKD 2008). Podjetja v dejavnostih od C-K so se<br />
prikazovala za predhodna leta (do vklju~no 2007), vklju~evala pa so naslednje dejavnosti<br />
SKD: rudarstvo, predelovalne dejavnosti, oskrba z elektriko, plinom in vodo, gradbeništvo,<br />
trgovina in popravila motornih vozil, gostinstvo, promet, skladiš~enje in zveze, finan~no<br />
posredništvo, poslovanje z nepremi~ninami, najem in poslovne storitve.<br />
Bruto investicije v nova osnovna sredstva obsegajo nakupe lastnih osnovnih sredstev v<br />
teko~em oz. poro~evalskem letu; posodobitve, rekonstrukcije in prenove `e obstoje~ih<br />
osnovnih sredstev; lastno izgradnjo in pridobitev (brez pla~ila) osnovnih sredstev; nabavno<br />
vrednost osnovnih sredstev v finan~nem najemu (lizing) in nalo`bene nepremi~nine.<br />
Osnovna sredstva so proizvedena sredstva, ki se nepretrgoma uporabljajo v proizvodnem<br />
procesu ve~ kot eno leto. Delijo se na opredmetena (gradbeni objekti in izboljšava zemljiš~,<br />
stroji, oprema in prometna sredstva ter gojena naravna sredstva - ve~letni nasadi in osnovna<br />
~reda) in neopredmetena osnovna sredstva (študije, projekti in raziskovalna dela;<br />
programska oprema; zabava in izvirniki oz. originali na podro~ju filma, glasbe ipd.).<br />
Gostota gradnje novih stavb je ocenjena na podlagi tlorisne površine novogradenj, v<br />
kateri se upoštevajo podatki o bruto površini stavbe in številu eta` vseh novogradenj, za<br />
katere so bila izdana gradbena dovoljenja.<br />
Tonski kilometer (tkm) je merska enota prevoza blaga; predstavlja prevoz ene tone<br />
blaga po cesti na razdalji enega kilometra.<br />
Bruto zasedenost le`iš~ se izra~una kot odstotek dejanskih preno~itev od potencialnih<br />
preno~itev v zimski ali poletni sezoni. Za dejansko preno~itev se upošteva vsaka no~, ki jo<br />
turist pre`ivi v nastanitvenem objektu ali ko je tam prijavljen. Potencialne preno~itve pa so<br />
zmno`ek preno~itvenih zmogljivosti v celotnem opazovanem obdobju, kar pomeni, da je<br />
{tevilo vseh obstoje~ih le`iš~ v nastanitvenih objektih pomno`eno s številom dni v opazovanem<br />
obdobju, npr. za poletno sezono se upošteva število dni od za~etka junija do konca septembra.<br />
Kmetijsko gospodarstvo je organizacijsko in poslovno zaokro`ena ter enotno vodena<br />
celota kmetijskih zemljiš~, gozdov, zgradb, opreme in delovne sile, ki se ukvarja s kmetijsko<br />
pridelavo. Kmetijska gospodarstva delimo na kmetijska podjetja in dru`inske kmetije.<br />

structural changes in the economy in recent years. Most of the changes thus involve<br />
market services and manufacturing.<br />
Enterprise is a registered legal or natural person which had either turnover or employment<br />
during the reference year and which performs one of the activities of the Standard<br />
Classification of Activities as its main activity. Data from 2008 on include enterprises that<br />
perform one of the activities of the Slovene Standard Classification of Activities (SKD<br />
2008) as their main activity. Data for previous years (until 2007) included enterprise in<br />
activities C–K which performed one of the following activities: mining and quarrying,<br />
manufacturing, electricity, gas and water supply, construction, wholesale, retail, certain<br />
repair, hotels and restaurants, transport, storage and communication, financial intermediation,<br />
real estate, renting and business activities.<br />
Gross investments in new fixed assets comprise purchase of new own fixed assets in<br />
the current or reporting year; modernisation, reconstruction and renovation of existing<br />
fixed assets; own formation (without payment) of fixed assets; purchase value of fixed<br />
assets in financial leasing and real estate as an investment asset. Fixed assets are produced<br />
assets that are used continuously in the production process for more than a year.<br />
Fixed assets are divided into tangible (construction work, land improvement, machinery,<br />
transport and other equipment, cultivated assets - orchard development and breeding<br />
stock) and intangible fixed assets (studies, projects and research work; software and<br />
originals in the field of film, music, etc.).<br />
New construction density is estimated upon floor area of new buildings, derived from<br />
gross area and number of storeys of all new constructions for which building permits<br />
were issued.<br />
Tonne-kilometre (tkm) is a unit of measure of goods transport which represents the<br />
transport of one tonne by road over a distance of one kilometre.<br />
Gross bed occupancy is expressed as a share of actual overnight stays according to<br />
potential overnight stays in winter or summer season. An actual overnight stay is every<br />
night that a tourist actually spends in a tourist accommodation or that s/he is registered<br />
in a tourist accommodation. Potential overnight stays are all tourist accommodations in<br />
the whole observation period (i.e. all existing beds in tourist accommodations are multiplied<br />
by the number of days in the observation period; e.g. the summer season includes<br />
all days from the beginning of June until the end of September).<br />
Agricultural holding is a single unit, both organisational and operating, of agricultural<br />
area, forests, buildings, equipment and labour force, which is engaged in agricultural<br />
production. Agricultural holdings are divided into agricultural enterprises and family farms.<br />
