Safety comes first
Members can receive an international
license within two days of joining the
Fun Fun Boating Club. To help build
the confidence of first-timers, a captain
accompanies them on their first two
trips and ensures they know where all
the storage areas, on board facilities,
and safety gear are on the boat. They
are also given guidelines for policies
and procedures to follow and each boat
is fitted a GPS system to help members
navigate their adventures.
As an additional safety measure,
the tracking system on board is linked
directly to the the company should
they need to send a rescue boat to sea.
Al Awaid adds, “We want people to
feel as safe they would be in their own
homes. This is, after all, their home
away from home.”
