Kuwait Oil Tanker Company is building a future-proof<br />
tanker fleet<br />
As a subsidiary of the Kuwait<br />
Petroleum Corporation (KPC),<br />
the Kuwait Oil Tanker Company<br />
(KOTC) is committed to providing<br />
safe and efficient transportation for<br />
Kuwait’s leading export (petroleum),<br />
which is in line with KPC’s strategic<br />
vision. Recently KOTC completed a<br />
nine-vessel new building programme,<br />
where they worked with different<br />
suppliers to implement new systems<br />
to operate a cleaner, safer, and more<br />
fuel-efficient fleet.<br />

unlike most ship-owners, whose<br />
approach to operations has been driven<br />
Saudi Aramco is in talks to buy a<br />
stake in a planned refinery expected<br />
to be built on India’s west coast that<br />
would be the country’s biggest refinery<br />
and would cost around $30 billion,<br />
by new regulations and bunkering<br />
costs, the company goes much further<br />
and consciously travels the extra mile.<br />
“Rather than wait for new regulations<br />
or react to changes in bunker prices,<br />
we actively seek new ways to improve<br />
our overall performance,” he says. “As<br />

ناقالت النفط الكويتية تبني أسطوالً جديداً<br />
اأكدت شركة ناقالت النفط الكويتية التزامها<br />
بتقدمي النقل الآمن والفعال لتصدير النفط يف الكويت،<br />
والذي يتماشى مع الروؤية السرتاتيجية ملوؤسسة البرتول<br />
الكويتية. وجهزت الشركة موؤخراً برناجماً جديداً لبناء<br />
تسع سفن من خالل العمل مع موردين خمتلفني لتنفيذ<br />
اأنظمة جديدة لتشغيل اأسطول اأنظف واأكثر اأماناً<br />
واأكثر كفاءة يف استهالك الوقود.<br />
واأوضح نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لعمليات الأسطول<br />
يف الشركة علي شهاب، اأن الشركة تتخذ خطوة اإىل الأمام،<br />
على عكس معظم مالكي السفن، الذين كان نهجهم يف<br />
العمليات معتمداً على الأنظمة اجلديدة وتكاليف تخزين<br />
الوقود، ويقول: " اإننا نسعى بنشاط اإىل اإيجاد طرق<br />
جديدة لتحسني اأدائنا العام بدلً من انتظار لوائح جديدة<br />
اأوالستجابة للتغريات يف اأسعارالناقالت،". واأضاف:<br />
"اإننا منثل دولة الكويت التي لديها سياسات حمددة جداً<br />
حول كيفية تصرفنا كهيئة مملوكة للدولة، علينا اللتزام<br />
بتوفري خدمات نقل ممتازة وفعالة من حيث التكلفة<br />
فحسب والأداء ".<br />

"أرامكو" تدخل بثقلها لالستثمار في أكبر مصفاة هندية<br />
اأبدت شركة "اأرامكو السعودية" رغبتها يف<br />
الستثمار باأكبر مصفاة للبرتول يف الهند، والتي تعكف<br />
البالد على بنائها يف ماهاراشرتا على الساحل الغربي.<br />
وستكون اأكبر مصفاة يف الدولة بقيمة 30 بليون دولر<br />
بحسب ما قاله وزير النفط الهندي دارميندرا برادهان.<br />
واأكّ د مسوؤولون حملّيون دخول "اأرامكو" مع اجلانب<br />
الهندي، لالستثمار يف املصفاة الأكبر بالهند، التي<br />
تعكف شركة النفط الهندية، برفقة شركتي “بهارات”<br />
ونظريتها “هيندوستان” للبرتول، على بنائها بالساحل<br />
الغربي للبالد حيث ستمتلك شركة النفط الهندية 50<br />
باملئة من املصفاة بينما ستمتلك بهارات وهيندوستان<br />
25 باملئة.<br />
