New Members
Building Partnership with the KM
Congratulations to the Seniors!
On April 1st, Family Chapel introduced 14 new
members to our congregation. (Alphabetically:
Alexandra Lee, Andrew Lee, Daniel Choe, Daniel
Suber, Diana Kim, Edy Kim, Eunice Hong, Grace
Yang, Ike Jun, Jason Hong, Kevin Sir, Nick Chung,
Rony Qiu, and Stephanie Joo). All 14 members were
interviewed and took membership classes in order
to understand the significance of membership. They
have committed to building the family of FC, and we
are so excited to see how God will use them for His
glory.
Family Chapel is blessed to be a church that has
the opportunity to partner with the first-generation
KM at OMC. From June 18th to 20th, OMC hosted
their annual Vacation Bible School (VBS), and many
FC members were able to get involved by serving as
teachers, praise leaders, and volunteers. FC is thankful
that they are provided with opportunities to serve
the youth of our community in these ways. Also, on
June 30th, OMC had their annual summer picnic,
and graciously invited FC members to join in their
festivities. It was a fun time of dancing, playing games,
and eating delicious food. We are thankful for the
growing partnership between our congregations, and
are looking forward to future opportunities.
Family Chapel celebrated the graduation of the Class
of 2018. These seniors are moving on from our SALT
(College) Ministry into our CrossRoads (Young Adult)
Ministry. They are Michelle Kang, Talie Chen, Jamie
Shin, Clara Lee, Sarah Lee, Julia Yoon, Ashley Ko,
Shay Kwon, Eunice Hong, Leerea Kim, Grace Yang,
Carolyn Kim, Isaac Chung, Irene Jang, Andrew Lee,
Kevin Joung, Sam Lee, Jenny Kim, Jennifer Nguyen,
and SueJie Oh. We thank God for His enduring grace
and are excited to see how the Lord will use these
graduates! Please continue to keep them in prayer as
they seek to make the transition into life after college.
