GARETH FARR <strong>He</strong> <strong>Poroporoaki</strong> String Quartet and Taonga Puoro Facsimile Performance Set Score version March 2012 <strong>He</strong> <strong>Poroporoaki</strong> for string quartet and taonga puoro, was co-composed by Gareth Farr & Richard Nunns for the 2008 Dawn Service Commemoration at Gallipoli, Turkey. It is the third work in the ‘Spirit of Place’ series of commissions. The work was premiered by Gareth Farr and Richard Nunns (taonga puoro) with a Turkish string quartet for the Dawn Service Commeration at ANZAC Cove, North Beach, Gallipoli, Turkey on 6 April 2008.
